ALTERNATIVES

The Devi AI alternative for founders who need more than listening

Devi watches eleven platforms for your keywords. AutoTraction watches three and then does the posting, the outreach, the press and the ads.

Devi AI and AutoTraction overlap on one thing: finding posts where somebody describes the problem you solve, and writing a response. Beyond that they are different shapes. Everything about Devi below comes from its own site at ddevi.com.

What Devi AI is

Devi calls itself an "AI Lead Generation Assistant" and the line under it is "Monitor keywords to find organic leads". Its strength is breadth. The site lists monitoring across Facebook groups, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Nextdoor, Quora, YouTube, WhatsApp groups, Telegram, Bluesky and Threads, and it says no admin rights are needed to monitor Facebook groups. It reads posts and comments with ChatGPT to detect buying intent, flag complaints and filter spam, in any language.

It then offers what the site calls one-click outreach draft comment and message generation, so you get a suggested comment or message to send yourself. There is also a content side: AI content generation with your logo, a unified calendar and one-click scheduling to your social profiles, groups and pages.

On price, Devi bills in Swiss francs rather than dollars, which is easy to miss. Monitoring Facebook groups is CHF 40 a month, and each additional platform is CHF 7.40 a month: X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Nextdoor, Quora, YouTube, WhatsApp groups, Bluesky, Telegram and Threads. The trial is 10 days for CHF 0.80 and then CHF 40 a month. Yearly is CHF 400.20, with additional platforms at CHF 73.50 each. The site states an anytime refund policy, a white label option for agencies, and free access for non-profits working on climate and human rights. One thing to check at the checkout: the page metadata advertises "as low as $19/month" while the pricing page charges CHF 40 a month for the base plan. We are quoting francs and leaving the conversion to you.

Where it stops

Devi is a monitoring and drafting product with scheduling attached. It does not source leads and email them, it does not pitch journalists, it does not run ads, and the content it makes is post-shaped rather than video and carousels.

Breadth has a cost too. Eleven platforms means eleven streams of alerts, and for one person that usually means more unread notifications, not more customers.

What AutoTraction does instead

AutoTraction is an AI marketing co-founder. You enter your website, it reads your product and works out who it is for, then runs the marketing from there: video with voiceover, six-slide carousels and founder posts, published daily to TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook through official APIs. It sources leads weekly and writes to them by email and on LinkedIn from your own accounts. It writes press releases and pitches journalists. It runs Meta and TikTok ads inside a cap you set. It watches which posts bring signups rather than views.

On threads it covers Reddit, X and LinkedIn, drafts the reply and stops. You paste it from your own account.

When Devi AI is the better choice

Devi wins on channel coverage, and for some businesses that is the whole game.

If your customers live in Facebook groups, Devi is the better tool, full stop. AutoTraction does not monitor Facebook groups. Local services, community products, anything where a 40,000 member group is the market: that is Devi's home ground, and the fact that it does not need admin rights to monitor those groups is genuinely hard to replicate.

The same applies to WhatsApp groups, Telegram, Nextdoor, Quora and YouTube comments. If your buyers ask their questions in any of those places, we do not cover it and Devi does.

It is also better if you are an agency, because of the white label option, or a non-profit in climate or human rights.

Who should switch

Founders who do not have a listening problem but a marketing problem. If you know where your customers are and cannot get to the posting, the emails, the press and the ads, a wider monitoring net does not help. AutoTraction covers three thread channels and then does the rest of the week's work for about four minutes a day of your time.

Does AutoTraction monitor Facebook groups?

No. It finds threads on Reddit, X and LinkedIn. If Facebook groups are where your customers talk, Devi covers them and we do not.

Is Devi AI cheaper than AutoTraction?

Devi prices in Swiss francs: CHF 40 a month for Facebook group monitoring, plus CHF 7.40 for each extra platform you add. Its page metadata still says as low as $19 a month, which is worth checking at the checkout. AutoTraction Solo is a flat $19 a month and runs the whole platform.

Can I use both?

Yes. They do different jobs. Some founders keep a listening tool for Facebook and WhatsApp groups and run everything else, including the posting and the outreach, somewhere else.
