ALTERNATIVES

The OctoLoops alternative when drafts are not the bottleneck

OctoLoops finds the moment a company is worth contacting and writes the message. AutoTraction does that, then sends it, then does the other five channels.

OctoLoops and AutoTraction open the same way: paste your product URL, get something useful back before you have paid anything. What arrives is different. OctoLoops hands you accounts worth contacting and a draft. We run the channel. Everything about OctoLoops below comes from octoloops.com on the day we checked.

What OctoLoops is

Its own line: "You build it. We find your next customers." The mechanism is trigger based outbound. Always on agents watch for the moment a company becomes worth contacting, find the right person there, and draft the message, around the clock, without you asking.

The distinction it draws is the good idea in the product. Not a list of companies that match a filter, but a company that did something this week which makes your product relevant right now. Its own examples name real accounts and the dated event that qualified each one: Plane launching Commercial v3.0, Formbricks adding automated survey follow ups, Glide opening a beta. Every opportunity arrives with its signal and source.

There are two loops. The outbound loop, above, and a community loop that finds live threads and drafts the comments. It also gives away a marketing snapshot, your ICP, positioning and where to start, from your URL with no account and no card, plus a free 19 page distribution playbook. It is a Red Sky Forge product and it is aimed at B2B founders.

Where it stops

At the draft. You review the message, make it yours, and send it from your own inbox. Nothing on the site describes a connected mailbox, an automated follow up, or a sequence that keeps going until someone answers. We also found no content generation for your own channels: no video, no carousels, no founder posts, no scheduled publishing, no press pitching, no ads, and no LinkedIn outreach.

That is a deliberate shape, not an omission. It is an opportunity finder, and it is priced like one.

What AutoTraction does instead

The same starting point, a wider job. It reads your website, works out who your product is for and how you sound, and drafts your positioning. Then six agents run on one briefing.

It sources leads every week and writes to them by email and on LinkedIn from your own accounts, following up until they reply, then hands you the conversation. It generates videos with voiceover, six slide carousels and founder posts, and publishes them daily to TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook through official APIs. It drafts your replies to Reddit, X and LinkedIn threads where people are already asking for what you built, and you paste them. It pitches the journalists who would actually care. It runs Meta and TikTok ads under a cap you set. It watches which posts bring signups rather than views. Four minutes a day from you.

When OctoLoops is the better choice

If your product is B2B and the only thing you are missing is a reason to contact someone this week, it is pointed straight at that, and the trigger event approach is better than anything a static list gives you. We source leads weekly. We do not publish a claim that every one arrives with a dated public event attached, and theirs do.

It is also better if you want to write the final message yourself. Plenty of founders close on their own voice and will not hand the send button to software. OctoLoops is built for exactly that founder, and its own writing says so.

And it is cheaper for a small team. Unlimited is $29 a month for one person, and Team is $35 a month flat for up to five people sharing one pipeline, with a note that the introductory price will rise once the shared inbox has proved itself. If outbound is all you want and there are three of you, that is hard to beat.

Our plans are on the pricing page and the site grader is free. If you are deciding whether outbound is even your channel yet, where to post your side project works through it without a pitch. For a rival that finds threads rather than accounts, see GummySearch, and for one that sends at volume, see Instantly.

Does OctoLoops send the emails for me?

No. Its site says you review the message, make it yours, and send it from your own inbox. AutoTraction sends from your own mailbox and follows up until someone answers, then hands you the reply. Whether that is an upgrade or a risk depends on how much you want to own the send.

Is $29 a month cheaper than AutoTraction?

Our Solo plan is $19 a month, so no, not at the entry point, but the comparison is not like for like. OctoLoops gives you unlimited loop runs on one job. Our $19 includes 250 credits and runs content, publishing, replies, press and ads as well as outreach.

Can I run both?

Yes, though the overlap is the part that matters most: both source accounts and draft outbound, and both draft community comments. Running the two at once is how the same person hears from you twice in a week. Pick one to own outbound.
