ALTERNATIVES

The Karis alternative for founders who want the work done, not queued

Karis finds the moments where your product could show up. AutoTraction finds them too, then writes the video, posts it, mails the buyer and pitches the journalist.

Karis and AutoTraction both start the same way: you drop in a URL and something reads your product. What arrives afterwards is different. Karis returns a ranked queue of opportunities you act on. AutoTraction returns finished work on your own accounts. Everything about Karis below comes from its own site. The product was previously called Amplift, and amplift.ai now redirects to karis.im.

What Karis is

The headline is "You build. Karis grows." The lines under it: "Drop your URL. We ship growth for you. Karis finds traction plays across X, Reddit, and YouTube. We execute end-to-end autonomously. Visibility is all you need."

Dropping a URL builds what it calls your Brand DNA and assembles a Squad. It scans your site, maps your audience and competitors, and produces a brand report covering positioning, categories, customers and topic clusters. Then it runs daily: "Every day, Karis surfaces high-signal threads and next-best actions ready to dispatch with one click."

Four features are named. Growth Opportunities is a 24/7 scan of social conversations, ranked by likely impact, with enough context attached to draft a reply without redoing the research. Influencer Discovery finds creators aligned with your product and audience. SEO and GEO audits your pages, suggests fixes and tracks your climb in search and AI answers. Market Intelligence tracks competitor moves, user complaints and unmet demand.

Where it stops

Two things are worth naming carefully, and neither is a criticism.

The first is the channel set. The home page says X, Reddit and YouTube. The Growth Opportunities feature page lists a wider set: X, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn and forums. Either way there is nothing about TikTok, Instagram or Facebook publishing, no video production, no cold email or lead sourcing, no press pitches, no ads and no investor outreach.

The second is the word autonomously. The home page says "We execute end-to-end autonomously". The feature page describes the loop as: drop your URL, "Review the morning queue" and pick what is worth acting on today, then "Execute and compound". Both descriptions are on the same site. Read as a queue you clear each morning, the product makes sense and does a real job. Just know which of the two you are buying.

What AutoTraction does instead

Enter your website. It reads your product, works out who it is for and how you sound, and drafts your positioning. Then it generates videos with voiceover, six-slide carousels and founder posts, and publishes them daily to TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook through official APIs, on accounts you already own.

It sources leads every week and writes to them by email and on LinkedIn from your own inbox, following up until they answer. It drafts your replies to Reddit, X and LinkedIn threads where people are asking for what you built. It writes press releases and pitches the journalists who covered your subject this month. It runs Meta and TikTok ads, keeps the winner, kills the rest, and stays under your cap. About four minutes a day from you.

When Karis is the better choice

Three cases worth taking seriously.

You want creator distribution. Influencer Discovery is a named feature: it finds creators aligned with your product and audience and tracks who was contacted and what landed. AutoTraction does not do creator outreach at all. If your growth plan is twenty of the right YouTubers, we are the wrong purchase.

You want SEO and AI search visibility. Karis audits pages, suggests fixes and tracks your position in search and in AI answers. We claim none of that.

You want to start at zero and stay cheap. Karis has a genuine free tier with 600 credits on signup, and Starter is $15 a month, which undercuts our $19. If the budget is the constraint and a morning queue is all you need, that is a fair trade.

Credit counts are not comparable, since the two products spend them on different things. Ours buy posts, leads, images and video: 10 credits is a week of posts, a verified lead is 2, an image 5, a video 10. The rest is on the pricing page, and the site grader is free. For the other tools in this bracket, see Promote.chat and HeyCatch. If the daily queue is the part you want, why replies beat posts on X explains why that queue is worth clearing at all.

Is Karis the same product as Amplift?

It appears to be the renamed one. amplift.ai redirects to karis.im, which is the Karis site. We have not seen a public note from the company explaining the change, so treat that as an observation rather than an announcement.

Does Karis post for me?

The home page says it executes end-to-end autonomously. The feature page describes reviewing a morning queue and dispatching plays with one click. Both are published. If auto-posting matters either way, ask them before you buy.

Which one is cheaper?

Karis, at the bottom and the top. It has a free tier, starts at $15 against our $19, and tops out at $95 against our $249. The products cover different amounts of work, so the right comparison is what each one takes off your plate.
